Scale Prognostics LLC ("we," "us," or "Company") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Email address and name provided during registration.
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• API usage logs: Timestamps, endpoints called, response codes, and request volume for rate limiting, debugging, and service improvement.
• Simulation inputs: Battery parameters, cycling profiles, and environmental conditions you submit through the API.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver and operate the Service, including running simulations and returning results.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Monitor and enforce rate limits and usage quotas.
• Diagnose technical issues and improve the reliability of the Service.
• Improve our models and products using anonymized, aggregated data.
• Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or policy changes.

We share data with the following third-party services, solely as needed to operate the Service:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe receives your billing information directly and is subject to the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Railway — Infrastructure hosting. Our API servers run on Railway's platform. Railway processes requests on our behalf and is subject to their Privacy Policy.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on our website or API.

We retain your account information and API usage logs for as long as your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion.

Simulation inputs are retained for up to 30 days to support debugging and result retrieval, then permanently deleted. Anonymized, aggregated data derived from usage patterns may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Period. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure API key authentication, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out: We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of.
